Hardware wallets like Ledger and Trezor were a start, but they werenât enough. Closed systems. Clunky designs. We saw the cracks and decided to fix them. Thatâs how Keycard was born.

Which is why we started with a simple question: Why should you gamble your financial future on opaque tech? The answer: You shouldnât. So we made Keycard fully open-source - code, hardware, as much as possible.
